When the homeowners purchased their home, it had a dedicated in-law apartment at one end of it with a separate entrance and kitchen. They decided to repurpose the space by making it a huge living room area with vaulted ceilings. We gutted the room down to the studs, vaulted the ceiling, and installed all new wall board, windows, a new exterior door, widened the opening to the kitchen, leveled off the floor with the rest of the home (it had previously been two steps down), and installed hardwood floors.
This bathroom was majorly outdated with pink tiling, a pink tub, painted wallpaper, and an unsightly fitted shower wrap. We gutted it down to the studs and installed new mold-resistant green board, then finished the room with custom tiling in the shower and a brand new vanity.
